Job Summary


The Offshore Business Development Manager is responsible for leading strategic business development initiatives aimed at acquiring and expanding outsourcing partnerships within the U.S. and Canadian markets. This role drives revenue growth through outbound prospecting, pipeline development, client relationship management, and consultative solution selling.

The ideal candidate is a highly driven, commercially focused professional with proven experience selling BPO, outsourcing, staffing, managed services, contact center solutions, customer support services, or related service-based offerings. This role requires expertise in building predictable sales pipelines, executing outbound campaigns, leveraging modern sales technologies, and collaborating cross-functionally with operations, recruiting, and leadership teams to ensure successful client acquisition and onboarding.


Work Schedule

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Time Zone: Must align with North American business hours
  • Flexibility: Required based on client meetings, pipeline demands, and business needs
  • Work Environment: Fully Remote


Essential Job Functions

1 Business Development & Revenue Growth – Develop and execute outbound sales strategies to generate qualified opportunities and acquire new outsourcing clients in the U.S. and Canadian markets. Own the sales cycle from prospecting through transition to implementation teams.30%


2 Pipeline Development & Lead Generation – Build, manage, and maintain a predictable pipeline of prospective clients through outbound campaigns, cold outreach, networking, referrals, and strategic partnerships.20%


3 Client Acquisition & Consultative Selling – Conduct discovery meetings to understand client challenges, identify needs, and position VLBPO solutions effectively. Prepare and present customized outsourcing proposals aligned with client goals.15%


4 CRM & Sales Technology Management – Maintain CRM hygiene, monitor sales opportunities, track engagement metrics, manage outreach campaigns, and leverage automation tools to improve conversion rates.10%


5 Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with operations, recruiting, marketing, and leadership teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.10%


6 Market Research & Strategic Planning – Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, pricing strategies, and emerging opportunities within outsourcing and managed services markets.10%


7 Performance Reporting & Forecasting – Prepare and analyze reports related to pipeline growth, conversion rates, revenue, outreach performance, and forecasting metrics.5%


Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Experience)

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, account growth, or revenue generation within the North American market.
  • Proven experience selling BPO, outsourcing, staffing, managed services, contact center, customer support, or related service-based solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing sales pipelines from the ground up.
  • Strong outbound prospecting and lead generation experience.
  • Experience conducting discovery meetings and presenting consultative business solutions.
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales methodology and account-based prospecting strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to independently manage priorities and perform in a high-performance environment.
  • Strong reporting, forecasting, and KPI management capabilities.

  • Building prospect lists and Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) databases
  • Managing outbound campaigns and sales cadences
  • Tracking engagement and conversion performance
  • Managing opportunity stages and pipeline reporting
  • Leveraging automation to improve sales efficiency


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing or mentoring SDRs, appointment setters, or lead generation teams.
  • Experience in outsourcing, staffing, or customer experience industries.
  • Experience supporting North American enterprise clients.
  • Experience implementing account-based marketing (ABM) strategies.
  • Experience in startup or high-growth environments.
