Job Overview

The Content Strategist transforms brand strategy into engaging, day-to-day content across social media, email, websites, product pages, paid media, and retail communications. This role defines how the brand comes to life through storytelling, messaging, content formats, and visual systems across channels, ensuring consistency and impact. You bring the brand to life through content that resonates with the target audience.

Job Highlights

Hourly Rate: The equivalent of $15.00 USD per hour in the applicant’s local currency

Schedule: 10am–2pm CST, Monday to Friday (4 hours per day).

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.

Responsibilities

• Develop multi-channel content strategies aligned with campaign direction and messaging territories.
• Write or guide messaging for social media, email, websites, product pages, and paid ads.
• Own and maintain content calendars in collaboration with the broader marketing team.
• Define content formats, narratives, and visual cues for each channel.
• Ensure consistency across both paid and organic channels.
• Collaborate with Design to ensure visuals align with messaging.
• Partner with Email/CRM and Paid Media teams to maintain message coherence.
• Support influencer storytelling frameworks and content requirements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in content strategy, copywriting, digital marketing, or social media strategy.
• Strong writing skills tailored to different channels and audiences.
• Deep understanding of the consumer journey and ability to optimize messaging.
• Ability to translate brand direction into actionable content frameworks.
• Experience with youth, creativity, lifestyle, or design-focused brands is a plus.

Soft Skills

• Exceptional English writing with a strong sense of tone, nuance, and cultural relevance.
• Strong aesthetic sensibility and awareness of youth culture, trends, and modern content formats.
• Collaborative mindset with ability to work asynchronously across time zones.
• Creative, curious, and proactive—comfortable generating ideas quickly.
• Calm under shifting priorities; adaptable without compromising quality.
• Highly organized with clean documentation and strong communication skills.
• Comfortable working resourcefully while maintaining brand consistency.

Preferred Experience

• Microsoft Office Suite
• Airtable or Notion
• Social media scheduling platforms
• Basic familiarity with Klaviyo or other CRM platforms
