Job Overview

Join a growing short-term vacation rental company that manages properties across multiple platforms including Airbnb and VRBO. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the financial operations for a dynamic hospitality business that handles guest bookings, property management, and owner relations. Youll be working directly with the business owner to streamline accounting processes and free up their time for strategic growth. This full-time remote position offers the chance to make a real impact on a thriving vacation rental operation while developing your skills in a fast-paced industry.


Job Highlights

Hourly Rate: The equivalent of $6.00 USD per hour in the applicant’s local currency

Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm with 1 hour of unpaid break

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor


Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.


Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly reconciliation through QuickBooks and property management software
  • Handle data entry for invoices, receipts, and Amazon purchases
  • Manage accounting and bookkeeping tasks currently handled in-house
  • Process financial transactions and maintain accurate records
  • Support the business owner with various accounting duties as assigned
  • Integrate with existing accounting firm for coordination on data entry tasks


Requirements

  • 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks
  • Experience working with US-based companies
  • Strong English communication skills
  • Ability to work EST time zone hours
  • Experience with data entry and financial reconciliation
