Payor Operations Associate – Mental & Behavioral Health

📍 Location: Remote (Philippines preferred)
💰 Salary: USD 1,200 – 1,500 per month (depending on qualifications and skills)
⏳ Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm US Pacific time

📌 About the Role

We are looking for a Payor Operations Associate with experience in revenue cycle management and claims processing, preferably in the mental and behavioral health industry. This role involves working with insurance payers, managing denials, and handling patient billing inquiries.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

✔️ Billing & Revenue Cycle Management – Process claims, handle denials, and communicate with payers.
✔️ Claims Processing – Submit and track claims while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
✔️ Denials & Appeals – Manage claim denials, resubmissions, and appeals efficiently.
✔️ Payer Communication – Liaise with insurance companies to resolve payment issues.
✔️ Patient Billing Support – Explain billing statements and patient responsibility amounts.
✔️ Data Management – Maintain accurate records of payments, rejections, and outstanding balances.

🔹 What We’re Looking For

✔️ Must-Have Experience:

• Billing, claims processing, and revenue cycle management (preferably in mental/behavioral health).

• Strong communication skills (written & verbal English).

• Understanding of medical billing codes (behavioral health codes preferred).

✔️ Nice-to-Have Experience:

• Experience in mental health practices or digital health startups.

• Familiarity with denial management and insurance appeals. 
   
• Managing credentialing processes for healthcare providers, under the nice to have section.
