Job Highlights

• Paid Hours per Week: 20
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, Flexible during client business hours | Australian Eastern Time (Melbourne)
• Work Arrangement: Work from home
• Contract: Independent Contractor

Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.

Responsibilities

• Watch basketball game footage and annotate events in real-time using custom software
• Mark precise timestamps for basketball events including shots, rebounds, assists, steals, and other key plays
• Record shot outcomes (successful or missed) during comprehensive game annotation
• Process complete games from start to finish with meticulous attention to detail
• Use proprietary annotation tools to capture detailed statistical data
• Maintain accuracy standards while processing game footage efficiently
• Adapt to on-demand work flow as client games are uploaded to the platform

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of basketball rules, terminology, and gameplay mechanics
• Understanding of basketball statistics including points, rebounds, assists, and steals
• Ability to maintain focus during extended periods of game footage review
• Comfortable learning and using new computer software and annotation tools
• Bonus if you have experience with data entry or sports analysis
• It helps if you’re familiar with AFL rules and gameplay as well
