Job Overview

Our client is looking for a professional to play a crucial role in business development by identifying and engaging with contractors who can bid on valuable government projects. This position offers the chance to develop expertise in both the construction industry and government contracting while building meaningful business relationships that drive company growth. You’ll be the vital link between government contract opportunities and the skilled contractors who can bring these projects to life, making a direct impact on both the company’s success and the contractors’ business growth.


Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM EST, with a 1-hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential contractors using targeted Google searches based on project type and location
  • Reach out to contractors using the provided scripts to present government contract bidding opportunities
  • Locate and communicate with decision makers at contracting companies
  • Present project details and bidding opportunities to qualified contractors in a compelling way
  • Follow up with potential contractors to maintain engagement and secure bids
  • Handle B2B outreach communications focused on project-based opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with contractors across various construction sectors
  • Track outreach activities and results to optimize approach and success rates


Requirements

  • Excellent English communication skills with clear, professional speaking ability
  • Sales and Lead generation experience in the B2B space
  • Comfort and familiarity with construction industry terminology and concepts
  • Ability to discuss bidding processes, pricing, and construction project details confidently
  • Strong phone presence and professional communication skills for B2B interactions
  • Research skills for identifying and qualifying potential contractor prospects
  • B2B sales or business development experience
  • It helps if you have experience working with construction or contracting companies

  • This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement.
