Audit Manager (Remote - PH | Independent Contractor | US Hours)

We’re looking for an experienced and driven Audit Manager based in PH to lead audit engagements for a US-based client. This is a high-impact role suited for someone who enjoys taking ownership, managing teams, and delivering quality work in a fast-paced, international environment.

You’ll be the key link between the client and the audit team—overseeing engagements, reviewing work, and ensuring everything is delivered accurately and on time. What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and manage multiple audit engagements from planning through completion
• Review audit workpapers, financial statements, and supporting documentation
• Ensure audits are conducted in compliance with applicable standards (US GAAP/GAAS)
• Identify risk areas and provide strategic recommendations to clients
• Manage, mentor, and review the work of junior auditors and associates
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and professional communication
• Monitor timelines, budgets, and overall engagement performance
• Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the audit function

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent strongly preferred)
• 5+ years of audit experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role
• Strong experience in public accounting or working with US-based clients
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and auditing standards (GAAS)
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
