Audit Associate IFRS

Overview

Join a team where your attention to detail and audit expertise truly make an impact. We’re looking for a meticulous professional to handle end-to-end audit support, from preparing working papers and performing substantive testing to drafting actionable findings and financial statements.

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday; Must overlap with Cyprus business hours (7:30 AM – 4:30 PM EET) Includes a 1-hour break; 8 hours per day

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain engagement setup documents, lead schedules, and trial balance imports while mapping accounts to firm templates
• Draft and track standard confirmation requests for banks, legal counsel, and loans to ensure timely evidence collection
• Perform walkthroughs for key cycles and execute substantive procedures including sampling, vouching, and analytical reviews
• Prepare detailed reconciliations for bank accounts, AR/AP, fixed assets, and VAT, ensuring full roll-forward logic
• Draft audit findings highlighting issue-cause-impact and propose necessary adjustments or management letter points
• Assist in drafting financial statements and disclosure checklists while clearing review notes to reach "review-ready" status
• Maintain an immaculate audit trail by following firm methodology, documentation standards, and data security protocols

Requirements

• With at least 3 years of experience in audit or assurance roles with a focus on compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Experience preparing audit working papers and performing substantive procedures
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation quality
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with senior team members
• Strong written and professional communication skills
• Knowledge of CaseWare is a plus
