Job Role Summary/Overview

We are seeking a skilled Architectural Photo Editor specializing in interior and architectural photography. This role focuses on high-quality post-production work requiring strong attention to detail, realistic lighting adjustments, and consistent professional standards. The editor will work on production-based workflows with a 24-hour turnaround expectation.

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, Flexible within client business hours | Central time
• Work Arrangement: Work from home
• Contract: Independent Contractor

Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.

Responsibilities

• Edit architectural and interior design photos to professional standards
• Perform advanced color correction and natural light balancing
• Enhance exposure, tones, and perspectives while keeping edits realistic
• Retouch interiors with attention to textures, materials, and fine details
• Manage editing tasks under 24-hour turnaround timelines
• Organize and deliver files via Dropbox
• Maintain consistency across high volumes of images

Requirements

• Proven experience in architectural or real estate photo editing
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop
• Strong understanding of natural light and interior image enhancement
• Ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality
• Experience with production-style editing workflows
• Understands architectural spaces and how lighting behaves indoors
• Can handle repetitive production work while maintaining quality
