Job Purpose and Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Appointment Setter/Executive Scheduler. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting outbound outreach to CEOs, business owners, and senior executives across the United States to schedule interviews for our editorial and leadership teams. This is a relationship-driven role that combines cold calling, appointment setting, lead generation, and executive outreach.


The ideal candidate is confident on the phone, comfortable handling objections, experienced with outbound prospecting, and capable of building rapport with high-level decision-makers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound calls to CEOs, Presidents, Founders, and senior executives
  • Schedule interviews for Content Managers and Executive Directors
  • Execute outreach campaigns through phone, email, and LinkedIn
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with executive-level contacts
  • Navigate gatekeepers and secure meetings with decision-makers
  • Follow provided scripts, messaging, and outreach processes
  • Handle objections professionally and effectively
  • Maintain accurate records and activity logs within the CRM
  • Follow up consistently with prospects to maximize appointment conversions
  • Assist with prospecting and lead generation activities when needed.


Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in:

  • Appointment Setting/ Lead Generation
  • Sales Development (SDR)/ Business Development
  • Outbound Sales/ B2B Cold Calling
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Strong phone presence and confidence speaking with decision-makers
  • Ability to handle objections and maintain professionalism under pressure


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience speaking with C-level executives and business owners
  • Experience using Zoho CRM, HubSpot, or similar platforms
  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or prospecting tools
  • Experience in media, publishing, events, sponsorship sales, or professional services
