Overview

Join an established independent insurance agency specializing in personal lines coverage, including home, auto, and life insurance. This role focuses on lead qualification and warm transfers, supporting the agency’s shift toward more efficient lead generation. You will be the first point of contact for prospects and play a key role in scaling the client’s operations.

Responsibilities

Make outbound calls to provided internet leads for insurance prospects

Conduct quick but thorough screening and qualification of potential insurance clients

Perform seamless warm transfers of qualified leads to licensed insurance representatives

Utilize company CRM system with integrated auto-dialer functionality for efficient call management

Maintain accurate records of call outcomes and lead status in the CRM system

Follow established qualification scripts and processes to ensure consistent lead quality

Collaborate with licensed representatives to refine qualification criteria based on feedback

Requirements

Experience in telemarketing, cold calling, or appointment setting

Strong communication skills for professional lead qualification conversations

Ability to quickly assess prospect needs and interest level while building rapport

Comfortable learning and using CRM systems and auto-dialer technology

Professional phone manner suitable for representing an insurance agency

Bonus if you have experience in insurance or financial services

It helps if you’re familiar with personal lines insurance products (home, auto, life)

Side Note:

Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional pay rate is based on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
