Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Apparel & Sportswear Designer to support the design and development of custom collections for our club partners.

This role involves working collaboratively with clubs, internal teams, and suppliers to design, develop, and technically prepare apparel collections for upcoming seasons. The designer will play a critical role in translating creative concepts into production-ready designs using both traditional 2D workflows and 3D garment visualisation.

Our current Head Designer works remotely from Italy and leads design using CLO 3D, so experience in 3D apparel design and remote collaboration is highly valued.. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, coordinating between customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery from order to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Creative Development

• Design full seasonal apparel collections for club partners, including:
• Match kits (soccer/football uniforms)
• Training wear
• Tracksuits
• Hoodies and lifestyle apparel
• Polos
• Spray jackets/outerwear
• Accessories such as beanies, scarves, and other club merchandise
• Work closely with club stakeholders to interpret briefings, brand guidelines, colours, and cultural elements into compelling apparel designs
• Present concepts, colourways, and iterations clearly to internal teams and clients

3D & Visualisation

• Create accurate 3D garment renders using CLO 3D to visualise fit, drape, materials, and design details
• Support the turnaround of revisions and approvals using 3D assets to speed up the development process
• Prepare visual assets for internal presentations and client approvals
  
  

Technical Design & Production Readiness

• Produce detailed production-ready artwork and files for suppliers and manufacturers
• Create and manage tech packs, including:
• Construction details
• Artwork placement
• Colour specifications (Pantone/CMYK/RGB as applicable)
• Fabric and trim references
• Size grading and measurements (in collaboration with technical teams if required)
• Liaise with textile suppliers and manufacturers to ensure designs are feasible, accurate, and aligned with production capabilities
• Review samples and provide clear feedback to ensure quality, fit, and brand standards are met.
  
  

Qualifications *Nice-to-have

• Must-have
• Proven experience as an Apparel / Sportswear Designer, ideally within performance or teamwear
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and manufacturing processes
• Experience designing sports uniforms, particularly soccer/football kits
• Proficiency in CLO 3D (or demonstrable experience in similar 3D garment software)
• Strong skills in Adobe Illustrator (essential for artwork, logos, and production files)
• Ability to create accurate, factory-ready files and tech packs
• Experience working with textile manufacturers and suppliers
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple club projects simultaneously
• Comfortable working remotely and collaborating across time zones
• Adobe Photoshop - for mock-ups, material effects, and presentation visuals
• Adobe InDesign - for presentations, line sheets, and internal documentation
• Additional 3D or apparel software experience such as:
• Browzwear (VStitcher / Lotta)
• Optitex
• Gerber AccuMark
• Lectra
• Experience with pattern-making fundamentals and grading (even if not hands-on)
