Were looking for a technical leader who can architect our AI platform while driving hands-on development of production systems.

What you’ll do

Weve reached the inflection point where AI becomes a core capability. With dedicated engineering resources already in place and leadership committed to scaling the team, we need someone who can lead the technical execution of AI-powered automation across expense management, accounting workflows, and spend control. Youll partner with an experienced AI Product Manager to build agent systems that transform financial operations at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Lead and scale our AI engineering team
• Own technical architecture for AI agent platform and infrastructure
• Drive technical decisions on model selection, tooling, and deployment strategies
• Establish engineering standards for AI development in a regulated environment
  
  

• Partner with Product to translate vision into scalable AI solutions
• Design agent systems that automate complex financial workflows
• Architect solutions that balance innovation with fintech-grade reliability
• Build evaluation frameworks for agent performance and safety
  
  

• Lead development of critical agent components and integrations
• Implement production RAG systems and LLM applications
• Maintain hands-on involvement in complex technical challenges
• Ensure system reliability through proper monitoring and observability
• Design multi-agent orchestration for enterprise workflows
• Implement governance and safety layers for automated decision-making
  
  

• 7+ years software engineering with 3+ years in AI/ML systems
• 1+ years leading technical teams or complex projects
• Proven track record shipping production AI applications at scale
• Experience with financial or regulated industry systems preferred
• A relevant degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related fields
• Proficiency in Python, Typescript or Javascript
• Production experience with LLMs, RAG architectures, and agent systems
