AI Implementation And Prompt Engineering Consultant

Overview:

We’re looking for a resourceful and knowledgeable AI Implementation & Prompt Engineering Consultant to support our team in identifying and implementing practical AI applications across multiple business areas—including legal, engineering, and general operations. This role is ideal for someone who understands the capabilities of current AI tools and knows how to translate them into meaningful business outcomes.

You’ll collaborate closely with business owners and teams (including a law firm and engineering operations) to explore opportunities, develop use cases, and train others in effective AI usage. The position will start as part-time, with the potential to grow into a full-time role as responsibilities expand.

Schedule: Monday to Friday | 20hours per week | Flexible schedule | AU Time Zone (Queensland)

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate AI opportunities across different business units and functions
• Research, test, and recommend AI tools or platforms that align with business needs
• Create and refine effective prompts for tools like ChatGPT to solve real business problems
• Conduct internal training sessions or write-ups to help teams understand and adopt AI tools
• Stay up to date with the latest AI developments and provide proactive suggestions for implementation
• Collaborate with stakeholders to scope and support AI-based prototypes or automation projects

Requirements:

• Solid understanding of a range of AI tools and technologies (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, Notion AI, etc.)
• Experience with prompt engineering and tailoring AI responses for practical use
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
• A proactive mindset and the ability to independently explore, test, and document AI solutions
• Exposure to multiple industries, such as law, engineering, or general operations, is a plus

Nice to Have:

• Experience integrating AI tools into workflows or automating tasks using no-code/low-code platforms
• Background in IT, systems thinking, or process improvement
• Familiarity with APIs, scripting, or automation platforms (e.g., Zapier, Make.com) is a bonus
• Exposure to multiple industries, such as law, engineering, or general operations, is a plus
