AI Automation Builder

Our client is seeking a skilled and creative AI-focused developer who enjoys building practical tools and transforming ideas into functional systems. The role involves experimenting with new AI technologies, automating processes, and creating simple apps and integrations that help businesses run more efficiently.

You’ll work across different industries and tackle a variety of projects, taking rough concepts and shaping them into polished solutions. The client values curiosity, adaptability, and a genuine interest in learning and building as new challenges and technologies emerge.

Job Highlights

• Hourly Rate: USD 10.38, the equivalent in your local currency
• Paid Hours per Week: 40
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM CST (Fredericksburg, Texas time), 1-hour unpaid break
• Work Arrangement: Work from home
• Contract: Independent Contractor

Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.

What You’ll Work On

You’ll help design and build systems that use AI to improve business operations across marketing, sales, customer journeys, operations, and product development.

Example projects include:

• AI tools that generate content, websites, images, and marketing assets
• Automation workflows for lead capture, follow-ups, booking, scheduling, and sales
• Chatbots that integrate across different platforms and CRMs
• Internal dashboards, tools, and apps to streamline workflows
• Mini SaaS-style applications (booking systems, CRM tools, quoting tools)
• Smart systems that optimize onboarding, retention, and communication
• Software that enhances business lifecycles for industries such as hospitality, contracting, events, and more

Responsibilities

• Build AI-powered tools and automations that improve business efficiency
• Work with leadership to understand goals and convert them into working systems
• Integrate platforms using APIs (CRMs, booking systems, communication apps, etc.)
• Develop smart workflows for marketing, sales, invoicing, and operations
• Experiment with LLMs and new technologies to develop creative solutions
• Build clean, user-friendly tools and dashboards for internal and external users
• Document systems and processes clearly for scalability
• Contribute ideas—this role values independent thinkers with big-picture insight

Requirements

Software & Development

• Experience with Python or Node/TypeScript
• Ability to build small apps, APIs, or dashboards
• Understanding of project structure and simple software system design

AI & Automation

• Comfortable using modern AI tools (OpenAI, LLMs, automation APIs)
• Experience building or connecting chatbots, automations, or workflows
• Ability to think in “systems”—connecting multiple tools into one solution

Integration & Product Building

• Familiar with APIs, webhooks, or platform integrations
• Interested in building tools for marketing, sales, or operations
• Comfortable with projects that may evolve into SaaS-like products
