Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Research & Outbound Outreach Specialist to support a targeted software sales initiative. This role involves researching portfolio companies and their parent organizations, compiling accurate data, and executing professional outbound email communication on behalf of internal stakeholders. Strong written English, attention to detail, and prior B2B or outbound sales experience are essential.


Job Highlights

Monthly Rate: USD 1194

Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 40 hours

Schedule: Flexible / TBD

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor

Side Note:

Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an Independent Contractor, the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. Professional fees are on hourly rates and depend on your performance in the application process.


Responsibilities

  • Research and identify portfolio companies and their parent organizations based on provided criteria
  • Validate acquisition relationships, ownership structures, and business relevance
  • Gather and verify ~10 key data points per company, ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Compile and maintain structured tracking spreadsheets (Excel / Google Sheets) for research, outreach status, and follow-ups
  • Execute templated outbound outreach emails via Gmail with light personalization
  • Manage inbound replies and follow-up correspondence to advance conversations toward scheduled meetings
  • Operate within a shared Gmail inbox, following rules, labels, and workflows
  • Ensure professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail in all written communications


Requirements

  • Proven experience in outbound sales outreach, lead generation, or B2B prospecting
  • Strong research skills, particularly in identifying ownership structures and company relationships
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets (filters, tables, data validation, tracking workflows)
  • Excellent written English, with the ability to represent another professional via email
  • High attention to detail, reliability, and discretion
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet daily outreach and research targets independently
