Finance / Accounting Associate — Construction Industry

About the Role
We are seeking a Finance / Accounting Associate with experience in the construction industry to support accounts payable, payroll, and general accounting operations. This role is ideal for candidates with strong Excel skills who are comfortable working with ERP systems and contributing to accurate financial management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice review, approval, and payment scheduling
• Assist with payroll processing and employee accounting records
• Review accounting transactions and ensure accuracy in financial reporting
• Maintain and reconcile records within the ERP system (Premier Enterprise or similar to Yardi)
• Support month-end and year-end accounting processes
• Generate basic financial reports and assist with ad hoc reporting requests
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial operations

Required Skills & Experience

• Prior experience in construction industry accounting/finance preferred
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting software (Premier Enterprise, Yardi, or similar)
• Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
• Experience with accounts payable, payroll, and accounting review
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good written and spoken English
• Self-directed, reliable, and able to work remotely

Nice to Have

• Exposure to process improvement or workflow optimization
• Familiarity with multi-site or multi-project financial management
• Experience with reporting and data analysis
