ReciMe is one of the fastest-growing cooking apps in the world, helping 15M+ users save recipes from anywhere and turn them into meal plans and shopping lists.

We’ve been a Top 10 app in the US App Store’s Food category for months and were recently featured on The Drew Barrymore Show.

We’re looking for a Video Editor to edit video ads for Meta (Instagram & Facebook), TikTok, and YouTube, turning raw footage, scripts, and creative direction into engaging, high-performing content.

You’ll work closely with our marketing team to adapt content for different platforms, test variations, and bring ad concepts to life. Your edits will play a key role in driving engagement, conversions, and brand growth.

🚀 What You’ll Do

• Edit short-form video ads using raw footage, voiceovers, and creator content, with a strong focus on clarity, pacing, and engagement.
• Adapt content for different platforms and audiences, ensuring each video feels native to the channel.
• Collaborate with creators, copywriters, and performance marketers to test multiple versions and hooks.
• Build AI into how you work — automate the repetitive parts of editing (captions, cutdowns, resizing, localisation, rough assembly) so you can ship more variations, faster.
• Understand performance data to iterate ads quickly, improve video outcomes, and optimize for scroll-stopping, high-converting results.
• Help shape the look and feel of our ad creative, maintaining consistency with our brand tone and aesthetic.

💪 What You Bring

• You’re a highly creative and detail-oriented video editor with a portfolio of short-form ad content that performs.
• You have a strong understanding of performance marketing and how to edit for attention, emotion, and conversion.
• You’ve created ads for Meta, TikTok and YouTube that actually convert.
• You’re fluent in the tools: Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (or an equivalent NLE), CapCut, and Figma or Photoshop for stills, thumbnails, and static variations.
• You’re comfortable working with raw content, motion graphics, text overlays, voiceovers, and you know how to use storytelling and experiment with new creative formats to keep content fresh, engaging, and high-performing.
• You’re comfortable using AI tools and confident building them into a workflow — you spot the repetitive parts of your process and automate them rather than grinding through by hand.
• You’re collaborative, fast, and resourceful, with the ability to juggle multiple variations and work on tight deadlines.
