About the Sales Lead Role 


We need a "startup hustler" who thrives in the absence of a manual. You arent just following a playbook, you are writing it. This role is designed for a closer and high-performer with a deep Rolodex in BPOs, Accounting Firms, IT / Developer / Engineering Agencies, Treasury, Finance, and Accounting departments of Philippine-based companies serviced by US, UK, and EU clients.


What You’ll Do


  • Build the Blueprint: Shape the sales structure from the ground up, identifying the best channels and tactics for the Philippine market.
  • Leverage Your Network: Directly engage your existing clientele in Treasury and Finance to introduce Higlobe’s cross-border payment solutions.
  • Own the Full Cycle: Manage the entire sales process, from high-level partnership building to technical onboarding and long-term account management.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Identify and close deals with BPOs, freelance networks, and businesses moving high-volume capital from the US/UK/EU to the PH.
  • Market Intel: Act as the eyes and ears of Higlobe in the PH, refining our product-market fit based on direct feedback from financial decision-makers.
  • Evangelize: Conduct high-impact virtual and in-person visits to build trusting, long-term relationships with key stakeholders.


Requirements


  • Industry Expertise: 3+ years of experience in Sales or Business Development, specifically within Remittance, Fintech, or Global Payments.
  • The "Rolodex": A proven, existing list of contacts within Treasury, Finance, and Accounting departments of companies receiving international payments.
  • Startup DNA: You are comfortable with ambiguity. You dont wait for instructions; you find problems and solve them.
  • Track Record: Proven success in Remittance, or building partnerships and selling B2B solutions to Filipino companies with US/UK/EU-based revenue streams.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of CRM tools (Salesloft/Hubspot) and the ability to explain complex financial flows simply.
  • Communication: Elite English proficiency. You can hold your own in a boardroom and a Slack channel with team members across 15 countries.
  • Location/Flexibility: Based in the Philippines, working on PHT, but with the flexibility to sync with our global team during US hours. Conduct regular client visits (in-person or virtual) to build strong relationships, better understand client needs, and offer Higlobe solutions for businesses or individuals.
