Job Description

About the Position:
The Power Systems Engineer will perform power system studies using PSS/E, PSCAD, Powerfactory, and Hypersim. Experience with generator performance standards, report preparation, and compliance with national electricity rules is essential.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics
3 - 5 years experience in full end-to-end delivery of multi-discipline complex high voltage grid connection projects
Background in an engineering design, build & commission operating environment
Strong HSEQ focus and passion for delivery and achieving strong results in areas of commercial performance and customer satisfaction
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels
Proficient multi-tasker with a friendly, positive, can-do attitude
Experience using PSCAD Software
Experience working in an Australian firm
