Motion Graphics Designer

Creative Kaiju is a design agency startup that provides today's modern clientele with what they need - amazing graphic design, and an unlimited amount of it! We're looking for great talent to join our team.

Your work should be creative, eye-catching, polished and most importantly, communicate whats required.

For this reason, were looking for people who have excellent English language skills, as well as excellent comprehension skills, an awareness of global business and popular culture, and most importantly - an eye for what works.

Basically, you should be great at taking requirements, and translating them into design that people love.

Please note that only motion graphics designers with an online portfolio will be considered for this position.

Receive design briefs and translate them into great motion graphics design

Deliver work very quickly, as we operate on tight timelines

Communicate effectively

Follow company guidelines and processes

Receive feedback from team leaders, and implement those changes

Be available to work for the full duration of your shift (for full/part time), or be available on short notice (for freelance work)

Be in constant communication during a shift, and/or be easily reachable (for freelancers)

This is a remote/work from home position. This means youll need:

A fast, reliable computer with Adobe CC suite installed

A fast internet connection, with backup internet if required in your area, data plan on your mobile phone if needed

Have a working webcam for meetings

Pay/Salary

This posting is for a freelance position. We start all designers off on a freelance/part-time basis, paid per hour. From there, the best candidates have the option to move forward to a full-time or part-time, monthly salary position.

Freelance hours are paid at 200 PHP/hour

Payments are made once a month (at the end) direct to your bank account. Candidates doing paid tests may get paid with PayPal.

Timings

Were currently looking for people who can work during afternoon and evening hours, Philippines time. Between noon and midnight is preferred.

Our Ideal Candidate

• Prior experience as a Motion Graphics Designer
• Has proven graphic design and layout skills
• Possess strong knowledge of Adobe After Effects is a MUST
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator would be a plus.
• Has fantastic attention to detail
• Can handle criticism and work with it as feedback
• Works as a team
• Stays up-to-date with new design techniques and software
• Enjoys looking up and learning new things quickly
• Has a friendly and positive attitude
• At least 2 years of working experience
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of motion graphic work
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details
• The ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
• The ability to work independently with minimal guidance
