Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support our daily operations and enhance our digital presence. You will play a key role in competitor research, content creation, and lead management to drive brand consistency and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Perform online competitor research and analysis.
  • Support the marketing manager and marketing team with daily marketing tasks and operations.
  • Collect data, organize, and provide regular reporting on marketing activities and success metrics.
  • Create social media content and manage the company’s social media pages.
  • Draft copy for email campaigns.
  • Work with the marketing manager to draft website copy for landing pages.
  • Send email follow-ups to sales leads.
  • Manage leads in the companys CRM.
  • Assist with the coordination of marketing events and promotions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure brand consistency and timely response to concerns.


Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic graphic design skills to create social media and website content.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite, including Excel and Outlook.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelors degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.


Highly Regarded Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience or interest in the specific industry.
  • Social media samples and proven graphic design skills - use of tools such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, or Photoshop.
  • Content writing or copywriting portfolio.
  • Experience with outbound calling (sales, fundraising, marketing).
  • Familiarity with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing.



Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional pay rate is based on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
