Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Shared Services Hub Setup & Culture Building

  • Spearhead the hiring and onboarding of key talent to support the centres operational ramp-up.
  • Design and implement foundational HR policies, practices, and procedures tailored to a shared services environment.
  • Establish a site culture that reflects and reinforces the companys values, fostering engagement and inclusion from day one.


Strategic HR Partnership

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, influencing decisions through data-driven people insights and HR strategies.
  • Anticipate future workforce needs and lead initiatives in workforce planning, capability building, and succession management.
  • Align global HR programs with local business needs, ensuring smooth and effective execution.


Talent & Succession Management

  • Lead talent reviews and succession planning for critical roles across the centre.
  • Partner with leadership to accelerate readiness of future leaders through coaching, career development, and structured learning paths.
  • Develop strategies to attract, retain, and engage diverse, high-performing talent.


Culture, Engagement & Organizational Health

  • Drive action planning from Org Health Survey results, focusing on systemic improvements and inclusive practices.
  • Champion the companys culture and values, shaping a positive employee experience.
  • Lead large-scale engagement initiatives to build trust, morale, and long-term retention.


Change Leadership & Organizational Design

  • Collaborate with senior leaders on org design, restructuring, and capability transitions.
  • Act as a change leader in transformation projects, ensuring employee-centric approaches.
  • Provide strategic coaching to enhance leadership effectiveness and team resilience.


Employee Relations & Governance

  • Manage complex employee relations matters with a balanced approach to compliance and business impact.
  • Ensure consistency in HR policies and practices, aligned with global standards and local regulations.


HR Analytics & Insights

  • Use advanced HR analytics to deliver predictive insights on talent, attrition, diversity, and engagement.
  • Leverage data to inform strategic decisions and measure the impact of HR initiatives.


Leadership Development & Learning

  • Partner with Talent Management to build leadership capabilities across levels.
  • Design and sponsor tailored learning journeys for emerging leaders and critical roles.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, coaching, and feedback.


Additional Accountabilities

  • Serve as a career coach and mentor to high-potential talent.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to strengthen pipelines and assess candidates for key roles.
  • Work closely with Global HR COEs to localize succession, engagement, recognition, and communication frameworks.
  • Contribute actively to the companys HR leadership agenda, supporting innovation, inclusion, and global capability building.


The Successful Applicant

  • Matrix Navigation: Comfort with global-local interfaces and influencing across multiple stakeholders.Qualifications
  • Exposure: Prior experience both operating in and establishing Shared Services Centres as the local HR lead.
  • Experience: 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, with significant exposure to business partnering at scale in a global/multinational environment.
  • Education: MBA or advanced degree in HR/Business preferred.
