Job Summary

Were seeking an Estimator to sit at the centre of our sales and project delivery process. Youll take enquiries from architects, designers, builders, and homeowners and turn them into accurate, well-structured quotes, tenders, and sales orders — making sure every product selected actually works for the project its going into.

This is a role for someone who loves the intersection of product, technical detail, and numbers. Youll be on the showroom floor guiding selections one hour and deep in a bill of quantities the next. Youll own the admin behind every quote and follow every opportunity through to a confirmed order.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare quotes, tenders, and sales orders for trade clients and residential/commercial projects
• Review plans, specifications, and schedules to build accurate bills of quantities
• Price projects end-to-end — tapware, toilets, basins, baths, accessories, and associated components
• Work with architects, designers, builders, and end clients to understand project requirements and recommend the right products for the application (water pressure, rough-in, installation, finish, compliance)
• Assist with product selections in the showroom, translating design intent into a specification that works technically and commercially
• Manage the full administrative flow of quotes, variations, sales orders, and tender submissions through our internal systems
• Follow up on open enquiries and actively convert them into orders
• Liaise with suppliers on pricing, stock, lead times, and technical queries
• Keep quote accuracy tight — margins, freight, variations, and changes all tracked
  
  

• Must-haves
• 2-5 years in an estimating, internal sales, or quoting role — ideally in sanitaryware, tapware, tiles, kitchens, bathrooms, joinery, or a related building products category
• Comfortable reading architectural plans, specifications, and schedules
• Strong numeracy and a sharp eye for detail — you notice when a number or a product spec doesnt add up
• Confident using CRM / ERP / quoting software and advanced Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication — youll be corresponding with designers and builders daily
• Organised under pressure, with the ability to juggle multiple live quotes and deadlines
• Existing relationships with architects, designers, or builders in the local market
• Background in interior design, construction, or plumbing that gives you technical fluency on rough-ins, compliance, and installation
• Experience with premium or European sanitaryware brands
  
  

• You care about the product. You notice the difference between a good basin mixer and a great one, and you can explain why to a client.
• Youre commercially sharp. You want the quote to win and be profitable.
• Youre a finisher. Enquiries dont sit in your inbox — they get quoted, followed up, and closed.
• You communicate well with creatives (designers, architects) and with pragmatists (builders, project managers) — and you know the difference.
