Content Marketing Specialist

Job Description:

You’ll step into a pivotal role where you’ll own the complete content marketing strategy for a thriving custom apparel business. This is your chance to replace multiple contractors and become the go-to marketing expert, managing everything from email campaigns to SEO-optimized content and video marketing scripts. You’ll work directly with the business owner, have creative freedom to improve existing processes, and have the potential to grow the role as the business expands.

Job Highlights:

• Hourly Rate: USD 5.5, the equivalent in your local currency
• Paid Hours per Week: 20
• Schedule: Flexible but with some overlap with the EST time zone for check-ins.
• Work Arrangement: Work from home
• Contract: Independent Contractor

Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.

Responsibilities:

• Create and manage 2 comprehensive email newsletters per month
• Write 2 SEO-optimized blog posts monthly to drive organic traffic
• Develop approximately 12 scripts and content ideas for the video marketing team each month
• Schedule and manage content across marketing platforms using Metricool
• Conduct SEO research and optimization using Semrush
• Support overall content marketing strategy and execution
• Collaborate on potential expansion into funnel lead generation and other marketing initiatives
• Provide regular reporting on content performance and marketing metrics

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience working with US companies in marketing roles
• Strong SEO knowledge and hands-on experience with SEO tools (Semrush experience preferred)
• Proven email marketing experience and newsletter creation skills
• Excellent content creation and copywriting abilities
• Experience with content scheduling tools (Metricool experience is a bonus)
• Creative portfolio demonstrating content and marketing work
• Excellent English communication skills
• Reliable internet connection and proper hardware setup
• Bonus if you have experience with funnel lead generation or video marketing support
