Job Highlights

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, flexible within clients business hours | Australian Central Daylight Time

  • Contract: Independent Contractor

Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.


Responsibilities

  • Quantity Takeoffs: Perform accurate measurements and quantity takeoffs using Kreo or similar AI-based estimating software.
  • Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost breakdowns, material lists, and labor estimates for project bids.
  • Admin Tasks: Handle minimal administrative duties to support the workflow, such as organizing project files, basic data entry, and managing email correspondence.
  • Data Management: Ensure all pricing information and vendor quotes are kept up-to-date within the system.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with the team to ensure estimates are aligned with project timelines and client requirements.


Requirements

  • Software Expertise: Proven experience using Kreo or similar digital takeoff tools (e.g., Bluebeam, BuildXact, PlanSwift).
  • Industry Experience: Strong background in construction or project estimation with high attention to detail.
  • Admin Willingness: A proactive attitude toward handling basic administrative tasks alongside core estimating duties.
  • Corporate Background: Experience working in a professional corporate environment with a focus on meeting deadlines and standard operating procedures.
  • Technical Literacy: Ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints and technical specifications accurately.
  • Communication: Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
