The Opportunity
Lavender is looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate Clinical Coordinator to join our international team. In this role, you’ll provide critical support to our nurse practitioners by managing medication requests, prior authorizations, and clinical documentation. You’ll play a key part in ensuring our clients receive seamless, timely care. The role follows U.S. Eastern Time hours and requires someone who can balance hands-on problem solving with big-picture thinking as we continue to grow. Responsibilities
Medication Management
- Resolve ePrescription transmission issues
- Investigate and address prescription mismatch issues
- Attend and escalate missing scripts and refills
- Administer transfers to new pharmacies
- Brand name vs generic medication approval
- Bridge script requests
- Conversion to 90 day scripts
- Prior authorizations
Clinical Documentation
- Disability documentation
- Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) forms
- University accommodations
- Provide emotional support animal letters on approval
- Confirmation of diagnosis and treatment plan
- Administration of unique letters/forms
- Record all requests from outside providers
- Record keeping of all requests from clients as well as Lavender requests
- Submit and/or transmit all lab requisitions
- Post lab results to EMR
- Upon nurse practitioner approval, share lab results with the client
- Follow up with all clients to confirm that laboratory appointments were scheduled and attended
What You Bring
- 2+ years of experience working in a healthcare environment
- Experience with prior authorizations
- Knowledge of medications and uses, including generic vs brand name
- High emotional intelligence, excelling in both oral and written communication
- Adaptable to changing processes
- Tech-savvy and can manage using multiple platforms
- Must be able to work EST hours
- Must have own computer and a quiet, professional space to work from home
