Bookkeeper

Are you an experienced bookkeeper who thrives on variety and precision? We’re looking for a Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll manage accounting for a diverse portfolio — from commercial real estate properties to bustling restaurant operations and an online retail business.

You’ll work across QuickBooks Online and Toast POS, handling everything from rent collections and property bills to daily restaurant transactions and online sales reconciliations. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys the balance of structured property accounting and fast-paced restaurant bookkeeping, with the flexibility of a remote or hybrid setup.

Job Highlights:

• Contract type: Independent Contractor
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm Pacific with 1-hour unpaid break
• Rate: PHP275 per hour approximately PHP47,733 per month (to be paid on the selected candidates local currency)

Scope:

• Primary focus initially on restaurant bookkeeping operations
• Multi-business environment spanning real estate, hospitality, and retail
• Cloud-based work environment with modern digital tools
• Long-term role with opportunity for growth as business needs expand

Responsibilities:

• Handle bookkeeping for approximately 20 commercial real estate properties with low transaction volumes
• Process tenant rent collections and manage property-related bill payments (typically 12 bills per month per property)
• Manage high-volume daily transaction processing for restaurant operations
• Interface with Toast POS system for restaurant transaction integration
• Work with QuickBooks Online as the primary accounting platform
• Handle periodic insurance payments and property tax payments
• Process restaurant event management and court rental transactions
• Support bookkeeping for online eye wear business operations
• Collaborate in a hybrid model where some local processing may be retained by on-site staff

Requirements

• Proven experience with restaurant bookkeeping and POS system integration
• Strong familiarity with Toast POS system specifically is a plus
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
• Experience with commercial real estate property accounting preferred
• Ability to handle both high-volume and low-volume transaction environments
• Experience with cloud-based accounting systems and file sharing platforms
• Strong attention to detail for managing multiple business entities
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
