Analyst - Residential Mortgage Credit

Philippines-Based | Remote | Full-Time or Part-Time | 6 Weeks Paid Recreation Leave

We are looking for an experienced Residential Mortgage Credit Analyst based in the Philippines to support Australian brokers and clients.

This is not a loan processing role. We are seeking someone who has worked in credit within a mortgage lending business and can confidently assess, structure, and recommend lenders.

The Reward

The Role

  • You will assess residential mortgage applications from a credit perspective, determine serviceability and risk, recommend suitable lenders and loan structures, and prepare strong submissions designed for approval.
  • Success in this role means delivering:
    • 15 residential loan submissions per month
    • Maintaining a 90% approval rate
  • You will work closely with brokers and lenders to ensure files are well-structured, compliant, and strategically positioned.
Your Responsibilities

  • Analyse client financial documents including income, tax returns, bank statements, and credit reports
  • Calculate serviceability and assess debt-to-income ratios
  • Assess credit risk and identify policy fit across lenders
  • Recommend appropriate lenders and loan structures
  • Prepare compliant, high-quality residential loan submissions
  • Ensure NCCP and aggregator compliance standards are met
  • Liaise with brokers and lenders to strengthen approval outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records and clear credit notes

Essential

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in credit within a residential mortgage lending business
  • Strong knowledge of Australian residential lending policies
  • Experience making lender recommendations and structuring deals
  • Ability to independently assess serviceability and credit risk
  • Residential mortgage experience specifically (not commercial-only)
  • Familiarity with tools such as ApplyOnline & Salestrekker
  • Strong English communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical ability

Desirable

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business or;
  • Personal property investment experience
