Job Overview

Our client is looking for an offshore Revit Construction Coordinator | 3D Model Coordination to help visually coordinate projects in 3D during pre-construction and construction phases. The role is focused on construction communication, clash detection, buildability, consultant coordination, and onsite visualization rather than architectural rendering or highly technical BIM management.

Primary Objective

The primary objective of this role is to create coordinated 3D construction models that help identify clashes, improve communication between consultants and site teams, support client understanding, and streamline construction delivery.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM AEST, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain coordinated 3D models from consultant drawings and site information.
• Identify clashes between structure, services, ceilings, drainage, wet areas, and construction systems.
• Assist with visual coordination meetings with consultants and clients.
• Update models based on site sketches, photos, and construction changes.
• Produce screenshots, walkthroughs, and simple visual presentations for on-site use.
• Assist in developing reusable construction assets and coordination systems for future projects.

Requirements

• Experience in BIM coordination, Revit modeling, or digital construction coordination.
• Strong understanding of how buildings are actually constructed.
• Residential construction experience is highly preferred.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, practical, organized, and able to communicate clearly with non-technical site teams.
• Knowledge of construction and coordination issues in accordance with Australian standards.

Role Functions

The successful candidate will take consultant information, including architectural drawings, structural drawings, hydraulic layouts, HVAC information, electrical layouts, sketches, markups, PDFs, and site notes, and convert them into coordinated 3D construction models. These models will be used to visually identify clashes, explain construction details to clients and trades, assist site coordination, and progressively build a reusable digital construction library for the business.

How the Role Will Be Used

This role will support the sales process, pre-construction coordination process, and onsite construction delivery. Models will be reviewed internally, with consultants, with clients, and onsite via large screens and tablets to visually communicate construction intent and identify issues before work is completed onsite.
