BOP Professionals Ltd is a growing service company in the Bay of Plenty, operating through our automotive division, AutoSteam. We specialise in premium vehicle detailing, paint protection film (PPF), window tinting, ceramic coatings, paint correction, and complete vehicle care solutions.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Car Detailer, PPF & Window Tint Installer to join our expanding team in Tauranga, New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicle surfaces for film application, including washing, claying, polishing, and decontamination.

• Install Paint Protection Film (PPF) on various vehicle body panels with precision and attention to detail.

• Apply automotive window tint films to a professional, bubble-free standard.

• Perform vehicle detailing, paint correction, and ceramic coating applications.

• Use specialised installation tools and equipment safely and effectively.

• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure all work meets company standards.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment.

• Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and customer deadlines.

• Keep up to date with industry trends, products, and installation techniques.

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum 2 years' proven experience in automotive detailing, PPF installation, and/or window tinting.

• Experience in ceramic coating application and paint correction is highly desirable.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong problem-solving skills and professional work ethic.

• Valid driver's licence preferred.

• Portfolio or examples of previous work will be an advantage.

Visa & English Requirements

Applicants should have:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.

• IELTS overall score of 4.0 or above, or equivalent PTE Academic score.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
