Concrete Plant Mechanic

Job Summary

Vertex is hiring a Concrete Plant Mechanic to maintain and repair equipment at our concrete plant. This position ensures plant machinery runs safely and efficiently to support daily production.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs on plant equipment

• Conduct preventative maintenance

• Troubleshoot and repair breakdowns

• Inspect conveyors, mixers, motors, and hydraulic systems

• Perform welding and fabrication as needed

• Maintain maintenance logs and reports

• Follow all safety procedures

Requirements

• Experience working in a concrete plant or industrial setting preferred

• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills

• Knowledge of hydraulics, motors, and conveyors

• Welding experience is a plus

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
