IT Executive / IT Engineer – Job Description

Position: IT Executive / IT Engineer

Department: Information Technology (IT)

Reports To: IT Manager / Admin Head

Key Responsibilities

• Provide IT support to office and shop-floor users.
• Install, configure and maintain computers, printers, scanners and networking devices.
• Maintain LAN, Wi-Fi and internet connectivity.
• Manage user accounts, email IDs and access rights.
• Data backup, antivirus and system security monitoring.
• Support ERP / HRMS / Attendance / CCTV systems.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware and software support.
• Maintain IT asset and service records.
  
  

• Ensure data security and system uptime.
• Follow IT security and company data protection policies.
• Support audits and IT compliance activities.
  
  

• Control IT hardware and software maintenance costs.
• Reduce downtime and system failures.
• Improve IT support response time.
  
  

• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, networking and software installation.
• Knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office and email configuration.
• Basic understanding of LAN/Wi-Fi networking.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
  
  

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Sc. in IT / Computer / Electronics.
• 0 to 2 years experience in IT support / system maintenance.
  
  

• Salary Range: ₹23,500 to ₹25,000 per month (Based on experience & skill)
