About The Role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Production Incharge to lead our CNC/VMC machining operations at GMP MediTech, Visnagar, Gujarat.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day production activities across CNC and VMC machines.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate production processes to meet daily and monthly targets.
• Allocate tasks to machine operators and ensure optimum utilization of manpower and machines.
• Monitor machine performance, tool life, and program accuracy to ensure consistent output.
• Ensure all products are manufactured as per technical drawings and quality standards.
• Minimize rework and rejection by ensuring in-process checks and quality control.
• Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with Maintenance and QC for quick resolutions.
• Ensure proper documentation of production activities, including job cards, inspection reports, and production logs.
• Coordinate with the Planning and Store departments for material availability and timely dispatches.
• Implement continuous improvement practices to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.
• Support training and skill development of machine operators.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and regulatory requirements related to medical device manufacturing.
• Report daily production status, downtime analysis, and resource utilization to management.
  
  

• Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical/Production Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in a production supervisory or in-charge role, preferably in medical device or precision engineering.
• Strong understanding of CNC/VMC operations, tooling, and programming basics.
  
  

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Familiarity with orthopedic implant manufacturing is a strong plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and production planning tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
