About the Role

U.P.PRO, a global supply chain and inventory management company, is looking for a Vendor Scheduling Coordinator to support its operational activity.

This is a hands-on, operational role at the heart of procurement execution, responsible for coordinating vendor schedules, tracking deliveries, and ensuring timely supply in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The role involves close, day-to-day collaboration with buyers and vendors, both local and global, and plays a key part in the procurement team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and monitor vendor schedules and open purchase orders
  • Perform daily follow-ups with vendors on delivery timelines and commitments
  • Coordinate changes, delays, pull-ins, or cancellations with suppliers as needed
  • Track shipments (air and sea) and ensure logistics timelines are met
  • Verify shipping and customs documentation to prevent delays at customs
  • Maintain close, daily interfaces with buyers, vendors, logistics, and internal stakeholders
  • Identify risks, delays, or planning changes and proactively escalate issues
  • Work with internal systems and Excel-based tracking and reporting tools


Key Challenges

  • Managing frequent changes in planning and tight delivery timelines
  • Working with suppliers under pressure to resolve delays or constraints
  • Operating as the execution arm of the buyers, supporting tactical procurement activities
  • Learning and working with complex operational and information systems


Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain, procurement coordination, logistics, or a similar operational role
  • Proven experience working in a daily, hands-on interface with buyers and vendors, including local and global suppliers
  • Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP
  • High level of organization, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
  • Good level of English for daily work in a global environment

Location: Vizag, India

Work Model: Initial remote setup, with potential transition to hybrid work at the local office in Vizag.

Working Hours: 9:00–18:00 IST

Workdays: Preference for Sunday–Thursday, but Monday–Friday is also acceptable
