Service Sales Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Service Sales Engineer to develop service sales and recurring revenue opportunities across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

The successful candidate will be responsible for growing sales of products, spares and related solutions among existing and new customers. This role will involve customer engagement, market development, opportunity management, sales forecasting and collaboration with internal teams to achieve annual sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive recurring revenue through the upselling and cross-selling of service products, spare parts and related solutions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers across industrial and process sectors.
• Coordinate with relevant end-market teams to achieve agreed sales targets and business objectives.
• Identify new market opportunities and implement effective sales strategies to deliver annual growth targets.
• Conduct customer visits, site surveys, technical discussions, product presentations and seminars.
• Provide sales support during technical evaluations, proposal preparation, contract negotiations and order conversion.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales opportunity information in Rotork’s sales management system, including CE.
• Ensure timely and accurate sales reporting, order input and forecasting.
• Monitor customer requirements, market trends, competitor activities and emerging business opportunities.
• Provide regular market and customer insights to support business planning and product strategy.
• Collaborate effectively with service, technical, operations, finance and other internal teams.
• Manage sales activities across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, including frequent travel to customer sites.
• Represent Rotork professionally and uphold the company’s standards of ethical and transparent business conduct.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

• A proven track record in sales within a manufacturing, industrial automation, valve or actuation-related business.
• At least 4–5 years of relevant experience in a similar sales or service sales role.
• Practical knowledge of electric, pneumatic or hydraulic valve actuation and associated service requirements.
• Experience in selling products, spares, retrofit solutions or maintenance services to industrial customers.
• Knowledge of sales techniques, business development and account management.
• Experience in customer negotiations, preparing commercial proposals and converting sales opportunities.
• Previous experience of leading, coordinating or managing people would be advantageous.
• A customer-focused, target-oriented and commercially aware approach.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

• B. Tech/B.E. or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Relevant technical and commercial experience in valve automation or industrial process equipment will be considered positively.
