Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager / Manager – O&M to lead plant operations, manpower, safety, and maintenance coordination. The candidate will ensure smooth daily operations, production, dispatch, and efficient coordination with maintenance teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily plant operations, production, and dispatch.
  
• Ensure smooth shift execution and timely reporting.
  
• Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
  
• Manage manpower deployment, attendance, discipline, and productivity.
  
• Implement safety protocols, conduct safety briefings, and ensure SOP compliance.
  
• Monitor machine availability, diesel usage, spare consumption, and operational costs.
  
• Handle client coordination and periodic operational reviews.
  
• Validate daily and monthly operational reports before submission to HO.
  
• Lead onsite teams and ensure smooth plant execution.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Operations & Maintenance / Plant Operations.
  
• Experience in Steel, Metal, Mining, Engineering, Construction, Infrastructure, or Heavy Machinery Manufacturing industries.
  
• Strong experience in manpower management, plant operations, maintenance coordination, and safety.
  
• Experience in a Team Lead / Site In-Charge / Supervisory role preferred.
  
• Good communication, client-handling, and onsite execution skills.
  
• Knowledge of HEMM, plant machinery, and industrial safety is preferred.
  
• NEBOSH / IOSH / Safety Training will be an added advantage.
