Job Description

The SAP Admin supports the maintenance and accuracy of master data within the SAP ERP and MDG systems. The role focuses on executing defined SAP MM activities, assisting in master data creation and updates, and supporting day‑to‑day manufacturing and supply chain operations under guidance from senior team members.

This position works closely with cross‑functional teams such as Engineering, Purchasing, Operations, Finance, Logistics, and Trade Compliance to collect required inputs for part numbers, material masters, BOMs, and routings. The role also supports basic process improvement initiatives and helps ensure data consistency to enable smooth production and planning activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support SAP ERP / MDG master data activities, including creation, updates, and validation of material and part master records
  • Assist in SAP MM support activities, including basic issue analysis and coordination with senior team members
  • Coordinate with Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing, Operations, and Finance to gather required data for part number and master data creation
  • Support BOM and routing maintenance activities as per defined standards and procedures
  • Provide basic technical information to Logistics and Trade Compliance teams to support HSN code classification
  • Assist in Kanban and backflush setup for raw materials under supervision
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives by identifying data gaps, inconsistencies, or inefficiencies
  • Support documentation updates and follow standard work instructions


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline with 2–3 years of experience


Required Skills & Competencies

  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of SAP ERP systems (SAP MM exposure preferred)
  • Fundamental understanding of BOM and routing structures
  • Willingness to learn SAP processes, manufacturing workflows, and cross‑functional coordination
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members across functions
