Job Description

The Role

  • Medical records are the foundation of every claim.
  • Missing or incomplete records lead to revenue loss and compliance risk.
  • As the Keeper, you ensure accuracy, completeness, and reconciliation while resolving discrepancies and preventing recurrence.
  • You safeguard the evidence behind every claim.

What You Will Own – Your Responsibilities

  • Claims & payment reconciliation — validating submissions, identifying discrepancies, and resolving mismatches against financial and regulatory standards
  • Data management & integrity — maintaining accurate records, conducting audits, and ensuring secure storage and retrieval
  • Workflow optimization — improving record processes using SOPs, Kanban, and Lean methodologies
  • Quality control & compliance — enforcing QA standards and supporting internal and external audits
  • SLA management — maintaining ≥95% SLA compliance across MRT processes and tracking performance
  • Risk management — identifying potential risks, documenting them, and maintaining mitigation plans

Non-Negotiable Metric

  • MEDICAL RECORDS SUBMISSION ACCURACY
  • TARGET: ≥ 99%
  • Percentage of records submitted and reconciled with zero discrepancies.

The Fight: What You will Fight:

  • The Disappearing Record
  • When records are lost, incomplete, or unreconciled — payments stall, compliance fails, and audits expose the gaps.
  • The Keeper fights every form of data loss — in submission, in storage, and in workflow gaps.
  • On the MRT team — nothing under your care disappears without a trace.

Who Thrives Here

  • You treat every record as evidence — You handle records as if they will be audited anytime
  • You build systems that scale — You create workflows that maintain accuracy under volume
  • You close every loop — Every discrepancy is tracked, resolved, and documented

The Wws Perks

  • Full training in medical records management and healthcare data standards
  • Clear performance metrics and SLA-driven evaluation
  • Defined role identity with measurable outcomes
  • Exposure to workflow design and process improvement
  • A culture that values data accuracy and accountability

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in medical records management, healthcare compliance, or related MRT operations
  • Knowledge: Basic analytical skills to review claim trends and help improve processes.
  • Prior experience in handling escalations and leading or supporting a team.
  • Ability to mentor and train new team members
  • Medical Documentation & Compliance Knowledge
  • Attention to Detail & Time Management
  • Awareness of HIPAA and data privacy requirements
