Job Description
Position Summary: Performs responsibilities as assigned on engagements and helps with all other duties necessary to complete a financial due diligence services engagement. Due diligence requires analysis of complex and often voluminous information and must result in clear and concise reporting for the intended readers.
This opportunity provides an excellent platform for a qualified candidate to develop technical skills surrounding change of control events such as refinancing, acquisitions, mergers, etc. in service to our private equity and strategic clients. The Weaver transaction team has more than 30 years of combined deal experience in the Dallas transaction market (U.S.A.). We perform financial diligence projects for clients in locations throughout the U.S.A and overseas. The transaction group possesses a proven client service model to include training and career development.
Specific duties and responsibilities for the financial due diligence senior associate include, but are not limited to, the following.
Building initial analysis from source documents.
Understand the level of quality and deliverable expectations for analyses (i.e., formatting, layout, accuracy, etc.)
Manipulate multiple source data documents using Excel skills to efficiently and accurately build out analysis.
Prepare and track the initial and follow up documentation request lists.
Responsible for completing all analyses and ensuring all necessary schedules and exhibits presented exceed Weaver quality standards and are reconciled to source documents independently with minimal support from Managers & Supervisors.
Assist in in preparing agendas and initial schedules to share with target.
Assist in identifying deal issues and other adjustments impacting the report.
Drafting certain portions of client deliverables.
Developing lines of communication with the clients.

Complies with Learning Plan.
Develops proficiency in use of all technology and applicable software packages.
Maintains designated chargeable hours for the year (determined in Charge Hour Budget).
Ensures quality control procedures are being executed under direction of engagement supervisor.
Respects the confidential nature of the client relationship.
Participates in internal marketing/development activities (as offered).
Effectively communicates with co-workers, counter-parts in the US & other offices, and client personnel, as necessary, through verbal and written dialog and email.
Seeks feedback, is receptive to constructive feedback and acts upon recommendations
Releases time on a daily basis.
Acts with integrity and adheres to policies within the Weaver Policy Center.
Job Requirements

Education
Bachelor’s / master’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, Finance or equivalent preferred.
Chartered Accountancy Course as regulated by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or equivalent preferred.
Skills
Experienced with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word and Outlook.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Team orientation and strong interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and deadline oriented with the ability to work effectively independently.
Sufficient technical skills to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this position including a demonstrated understanding of GAAP.
Complete understanding of basic financial statements.
CA preferred, with 2-3+ years’ experience in Financial due diligence / Audit & Accounting or its equivalent during Articleship or post-qualification.
