Job Description

The Relationship Manager - LAP is responsible for sourcing and acquiring Loan Against Property (LAP) business from customers, DSAs, connectors, and open market channels. The role involves identifying prospective customers, understanding their financial requirements, coordinating with credit and operations teams for loan processing, and ensuring timely disbursement. The incumbent is also responsible for portfolio quality, customer relationship management, and achieving assigned business targets.

Responsibilities

Source LAP business through self-acquisition and channel partners.
Build and maintain relationships with customers, DSAs, and business associates.
Conduct customer meetings and assess funding requirements.
Coordinate with credit, legal, technical, and operations teams for loan processing.
Ensure achievement of monthly disbursement and revenue targets.
Maintain portfolio quality and minimize delinquency.
Cross-sell relevant banking and financial products.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).
2-8 years of experience in LAP, Mortgage, Home Loan, or Secured Lending sales.
Strong local market knowledge and customer network.
Good communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
