About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Engineer to join our team and take ownership of end-to-end technical delivery across multiple web-based projects. This role requires deep expertise in PHP, web development, MySQL, DevOps, and GitHub, along with strong troubleshooting, testing, and project management capabilities. You will lead a team of developers, ensure code quality, and drive successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable web applications using PHP and related technologies.
• Manage MySQL database architecture, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Oversee code reviews, testing strategies, and ensure high standards of code quality and security.
• Handle DevOps tasks including CI/CD pipelines, deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
• Manage GitHub repositories, branching strategies, pull requests, and release processes.
• Act as the primary technical point of ensuring alignment between technical solutions and business requirements.
• Collaborate with QA to define testing frameworks and strategies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the stack — from code to infrastructure.
• Coordinate and manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to meet business goals.
  
  
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in PHP development (Laravel, Symfony or similar frameworks preferred).
• Strong expertise in web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with MySQL (queries, indexing, optimization).
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (Docker, CI/CD, Nginx/Apache configuration, cloud services).
• Advanced knowledge of Git/GitHub workflows.
• Proven ability to manage technical projects and lead a team.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
