SUPERWISE Chat is an enterprise, multi-tenant generative AI platform combining conversational AI, governance, persistent memory, knowledge management, enterprise data connectivity, and policy enforcement. 

The product serves users in complex enterprise environments where permissions, data boundaries, explainability, errors, long-running operations, and administrative controls are part of the experience rather than edge cases. 

The application stack includes Next.js 15, React 19, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, realtime communication, and a multi-stage Cognitive Control Layer that orchestrates generative AI interactions. 

The Role 

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer with particular depth in product engineering, frontend architecture, and sophisticated enterprise user experiences. 

You will own product capabilities end to end, from understanding the user workflow through interaction design, React implementation, API and data changes, testing, deployment, and production behavior. 

This is not a narrowly defined frontend position. You should be capable of moving through the full application stack and making the backend changes required to ship a complete feature. 

We expect experienced engineers to use modern coding agents to dramatically increase their delivery surface while applying their own judgment to architecture, implementation, usability, security, testing, and production readiness. 

What You Will Own 

• Design and build sophisticated React and Next.js experiences across SUPERWISE Chat. 

• Own complex workflows involving conversations, workspaces, channels, knowledge, documents, permissions, administration, governance, and configuration. 

• Build complete product states including loading, streaming, partial completion, empty states, failures, retries, permissions, degraded services, and long-running operations. 

• Build conversational experiences around streaming generative AI responses using SSE and realtime technologies. 

• Design UI patterns for citations, sources, tool execution, attachments, generated artifacts, errors, guardrail interventions, and escalations. 

• Help users understand what the AI did, what information it used, what failed, and what they can do next. 

• Build maintainable frontend architecture using React 19, Next.js 15, TypeScript, and modern component patterns. 

• Work across server/client components, routing, data loading, state management, caching, forms, authentication, and application lifecycle concerns. 

• Diagnose rendering, data-fetching, state-propagation, bundle, and realtime performance issues. 

• Implement permission-aware experiences driven by RBAC and resource-level authorization. 

• Design and modify REST APIs, TypeScript services, validation, PostgreSQL schemas, migrations, and application logic required to deliver a feature. 

• Own vertical product slices without requiring a separate backend engineer for routine service and data-layer work. 

• Build unit, integration, component, and end-to-end tests using Vitest, Testing Library, and Playwright. 

Agentic Engineering Is Part of the Job 

• Use modern agentic coding systems as part of your normal engineering workflow. 

• Turn product intent and UX requirements into structured specifications agents can execute effectively. 

• Use agents to accelerate implementation across frontend, backend, testing, and refactoring. 

• Break larger product capabilities into coherent agentic workstreams without losing consistency across the resulting experience. 

• Provide sufficient design, architectural, behavioral, and testing context before implementation begins. 

• Review generated UI and code critically rather than accepting the first functioning result. 

• Recognize technically valid implementations that create poor UX, unnecessary complexity, weak abstractions, accessibility problems, security mistakes, or maintainability issues. 

• Understand generated implementation well enough to debug, change, explain, and operate it yourself. 

• Use visual inspection, automated tests, browser behavior, runtime evidence, and code review to validate agent-produced work. 

• Know when to intervene directly rather than continuing to prompt around a flawed implementation. 

• Continuously evolve your engineering workflow as agentic development capabilities improve. 

Required Experience 

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience. 

• Deep production experience with React and modern TypeScript frontend development. 

• Strong experience with Next.js or comparable full-stack React frameworks. 

• Experience building complex SaaS or enterprise product interfaces rather than primarily static sites or marketing applications. 

• Strong understanding of component architecture, state, forms, asynchronous behavior, performance, and frontend application lifecycle. 

• Experience consuming and designing REST APIs. 

• Production backend experience with Node.js and TypeScript or a comparable modern server-side environment. 

• Working PostgreSQL knowledge including schema relationships, migrations, queries, and transactions. 

• Experience implementing authentication and permission-aware applications. 

• Strong automated testing experience across unit, component, integration, or end-to-end layers. 

• Experience with Git-based collaborative development, code review, and CI/CD. 

• Demonstrated use of AI-assisted or agentic coding systems for substantive software-development work. 

• Ability to explain and defend implementation decisions in systems you have built regardless of whether AI generated some or most of the code. 

Preferred Experience 

• Generative AI or LLM-powered application development. 

• Conversational AI interfaces, streaming responses, agent/tool-execution interfaces, RAG, enterprise knowledge, citations, and source presentation. 

• React Server Components and modern Next.js App Router patterns. 

• Tailwind CSS and headless component systems such as Radix UI. 

• Rich content systems including TipTap or sophisticated markdown rendering. 

• Data visualization using Vega or similar technologies. 

• Realtime applications using Socket.io, SSE, or comparable mechanisms. 

• Mobile application development using React Native or a comparable framework. 

• Responsive product design across desktop, tablet, and mobile form factors. 

• Accessibility and custom design-system development. 

• Enterprise RBAC, governance, audit, and administration experiences. 

• Stripe or other complex commerce and entitlement workflows. 

• GitLab CI, Docker, GCP, Redis, asynchronous workflows, PostgreSQL RLS, or Python/FastAPI. 

Technology Environment 

• Frontend: Next.js 15, React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS 4, Radix UI. 

• Backend: Node.js 22+, TypeScript, Express, Zod, Pino, Python/FastAPI. 

• Data: PostgreSQL 16, pgvector, Redis 7. 

• AI and Platform: CCL orchestration, LLM providers, embeddings, retrieval, tools, guardrails, policy enforcement, persistent memory. 

• Realtime: SSE and Socket.io. 

• Authentication and Authorization: OIDC, JWT, Frontegg, RBAC, PostgreSQL RLS. 

• Product Integrations: Stripe, document and data connectors, GCP. 

• Testing and Infrastructure: Vitest, Testing Library, Playwright, Docker Compose, GitLab CI, OpenTelemetry. 

• Exact prior experience with every technology is not required. We value strong product-engineering fundamentals and demonstrated ability to become productive quickly in adjacent technologies. 

What Strong Performance Looks Like 

• Independently take complex product capabilities from intent to production. 

• Create enterprise experiences that make complicated platform behavior understandable rather than merely exposing underlying implementation. 

• Increase delivery capacity through agentic development without allowing speed to degrade product quality. 

• Recognize when generated code works technically but is wrong for the product or system. 

• Move comfortably between a React component, API contract, database change, automated test, and production issue when necessary to finish the job. 

• Anticipate permissions, failure states, edge cases, accessibility, and operational behavior before they become QA findings. 

• Use agentic engineering to increase meaningful product value rather than simply generating more code. 

• Require less detailed direction over time, not more.
