The Opportunity
The PMO Specialist supports the APMEA Project Management Transformation program by coordinating key initiatives, enhancing governance processes, and ensuring effective communication across factories and stakeholders. This role plays a critical part in driving consistency, improving project execution practices, and enabling the successful adoption of PM standards across the region. The individual will also facilitate workshops, support training activities, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
How Do You Make Impact
- You will assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of PM Transformation initiatives, also track implementation progress, follow up on action items, and prepare status updates for management and maintain structured governance, documentation, and reporting.
- You will plan, coordinate, and conduct workshops (e.g., PM Kaizen, Gate Model onboarding, R&O training, Project Review rollouts), facilitate discussions to identify gaps, issues, and improvement opportunities also develop workshop materials, agendas, and post-workshop summaries.
- You will maintain accurate project documentation including project plans, dashboards, status reports, and meeting minutes, ensure timely reporting of progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and management also coordinate communication across PMs, factories, Hub PMO, Sales, CM, T&D, and global teams.
- You will identify risks, issues, and dependencies affecting PM Transformation or project delivery and support the development and monitoring of mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- You will contribute to the improvement of PM processes, templates, tools, and governance frameworks also provide recommendations to enhance efficiency, adoption, and standardization across factories.
- You will support the development and delivery of PM training materials, onboarding guides, and user documentation also provide guidance to PMs and teams on new processes, tools, and best practices.
- You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in industrial management, electrical engineering, or equivalent with strong technical background (project management qualifications are seen as plus).
- Proven experience in project management within the electrical industry needed, with PMP Certified is an added advantage, PMO, or transformation-related roles is preferred.
- Possess strong leadership skills and ability to lead the team and convince stakeholders in the interest of the project.
- Ability to work under pressure to deliver projects with time, cost, and quality, and experience of SAP or another ERP platform knowledge is an advantage. Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in project deliverables, capability to develop work practices and to take lessons learned and implement them into the processes.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under tight deadlines and excellent collaboration and work with cross functional and cross-cultural team, also willingness to travel is a must. Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and challenges.
- Strong communication skill in English.
