Lead the Operations Behind Critical Industrial & Clean Energy Infrastructure

This is not a traditional plant or workshop management role.

This is an opportunity to lead a highly visible aftermarket service operation supporting mission-critical industrial and clean energy infrastructure across global markets.

As the Operations Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of a fast-paced customer service and repair center supporting cryogenic equipment, industrial gas systems, LNG infrastructure, and rotating equipment technologies. Your leadership will directly impact operational efficiency, profitability, customer satisfaction, safety, and long-term business growth.

You’ll partner across operations, engineering, customer service, supply chain, finance, and leadership teams to ensure repairs, maintenance, and service activities are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Operational Leadership

  • Lead all aspects of the aftermarket services customer center including workshop operations, customer support, scheduling, and service delivery
  • Develop and execute operational strategies focused on revenue growth, profitability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
  • Implement and monitor KPIs aligned with operational and business objectives
  • Ensure quality, safety, compliance, and on-time delivery standards are consistently achieved

Financial & Business Management

  • Develop and manage annual operational budgets and financial forecasts
  • Monitor operational costs and identify opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency
  • Analyze operational and financial data to support business decisions and long-term growth initiatives

Workshop & Service Operations

  • Oversee repair, overhaul, maintenance, and aftermarket service activities
  • Coordinate labor planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to support operational demands
  • Drive inventory management, warehouse efficiency, and materials planning initiatives
  • Ensure operational processes support customer commitments and service excellence

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop administrative, customer service, and workshop operations personnel
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team culture
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, training, and ongoing employee development initiatives
  • Promote continuous improvement and operational excellence across the organization

Compliance & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure compliance with operational, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
  • Support lean manufacturing, 6S, and process optimization initiatives
  • Partner with leadership teams globally to align best practices and operational standards
  • Maintain strong customer, supplier, and stakeholder relationships

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, Business, or related discipline OR equivalent operational leadership experience
  • 5–7+ years of progressive operations leadership experience within industrial manufacturing, aftermarket services, or technical service environments
  • Strong business and financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and operational analysis
  • Experience leading workshop, repair, service, or industrial operational teams
  • Background in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to operate in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
  • Proven leadership experience building and mentoring high-performing teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while driving operational efficiency and profitability
  • Experience with ERP systems, operational reporting, and inventory management processes
  • Strong communication and cross-functional leadership capabilities
