Your new role – challenging and future-oriented

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead Engineering Team of STG in India. The incumbent will be responsible as Head of Engineering – Steam Turbine & Generator to lead global steam turbine engineering activities from India, supporting product platforms, projects, manufacturing, service, and digital transformation initiatives focusing both for Indian and global markets.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Lead and grow multi‑disciplinary steam turbine engineering teams in India
• Provide technical leadership and governance across product and project engineering
• Act as senior technical authority for design decisions, deviations, and risk assessments
• Drive embedded digitalization and process automation across engineering workflows (digital twins, analytics, automated checks, model‑based engineering)
• Partner with manufacturing, service, and global stakeholders to ensure quality, cost, and delivery excellence
• Support reliability, lifecycle, modernization, and performance improvement initiatives
• Build engineering capability, succession pipelines, and a strong culture of safety and innovation
  
  

We don’t need superheroes, just super minds:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 15+ years in steam turbine engineering, with 5+ years in senior leadership role,
• Proven experience in OEM / global product engineering environment, India based global delivery model
• Industry experience preferred in infrastructure, EPC, power, Rotating equipment manufacturing, or capital-intensive sectors
• Deep understanding in Steam turbine design concepts
• Concepts and understanding of Boiler turbine generator integration, Controls, auxiliaries, and protection philosophy
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• High integrity and ownership mindset
• Adaptive to digitalization and automation of processes
• Ability to operate in fast-growing, dynamic and complex environments
