This Position reports to:

Purchasing Manager



Your role and responsibilities

You will be responsible to handle sale and operation planning of a defined product range from outsource suppliers. Ensures the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the business(es). Executes assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures.

This role is contributing to the Motion business for High Power division based in Vadodara, India

Your responsibilities:

• Applies and implements procurement standards, tools, and processes in their own area of responsibility to secure On Time Delivery , quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability
• Executes purchasing and logistics strategies to support the business by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products.
• Supports the Procurement Manager in implementing effective local procurement strategies in line with business strategy to meet current and future business requirements.
• Supports alignment between local procurement activities and division strategy.
  
  

Your Qualifications:

• BE/BTECH in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a reputed engineering college.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience in Fulfillment /Procurement/ Purchase
• Experience in rotating electrical machines or HT Motors/Synchronous Generator will be preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
