The Opportunity
We are looking for a CAPEX Category Management Specialist who will handle negotiation price and service level agreements of all investments with the goal to provide the best quality, reliability, lead time, installation and total cost as well as other terms and conditions requested by the factories. Collaboration with stakeholders to serve company vision and investment plan for sustainable future for all is key step for us and you will be in the center of sustainably growing environment. You will be responsible to lead negotiations for CAPEX investments in APMEA HUB which includes the following regions and countries: Asia, Pacific, Middle East, Africa, India & Turkey including 16 factories and 10 service units.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- You will collect detailed factory requirements, benchmark machines and equipment’s within APMEA and other HUB´s or BU´s., provide cost breakdown and “should costing” analysis.
- You will set yearly budgets (spend, cost reduction, payment terms etc.) for your category in line with the BU category strategy in coordination with the APMEA HUB Category Manager – CAPEX, negotiate frame and service level agreements with the suppliers and execute and deliver agreed strategy deployment actions and follow-up on responsible functions and other stakeholders.
- You will manage supplier relationships within your category, lead supplier qualifications and perform risk assessments, plan and assign audits to Supply Quality & Development Engineers, conduct Supplier Performance Evaluations (SPE), scout and research new suppliers, apply and implement SCM standards, tools and processes in the area of responsibility.
- You will Work closely with operations to ensure business continuity and seamless execution of the projects.
- You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the disciplines: engineering, finance, supply chain, management or similar.
- More than 10years of relevant experience in Capex Category or Supply Chain Management.
- Experience in transformer or automotive industry is a plus. Proven skills in negotiation and contract management, especially in GTC Framework Agreements.
- Knowledge of main and auxiliary machines used in transformer production, such as VPD, core cutting, winding etc. is a plus. Assertiveness & ability to negotiate & convince on management level, structured, systematic way of working and good at collaboration.
- Good understanding in ISO standards, UN´s 17 Sustainable Development Goals, EcoVadis, REACH, RoHS, FMEA, PPAP and Conflict Minerals.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
