Job Description

The Materials Manager is responsible for overseeing the procurement, storage, inventory control, and distribution of all goods and supplies required for smooth palace operations. The role ensures timely availability of quality materials at competitive prices while maintaining strict cost control and compliance with palace policies and hospitality industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing activities, supplier selection, and price negotiations.
• Maintain approved vendor lists and evaluate supplier performance.
• Oversee receiving, storing, and issuing of materials following FIFO and proper storage standards.
• Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages, overstocking, and wastage.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and ensure accurate system records.
• Support budgeting and control material costs in coordination with department heads.
• Ensure compliance with internal audit requirements and brand standards
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Hospitality Management, or related field.
• Minimum 1 Year of experience at the current role.
• Strong negotiation, inventory management, and cost-control skills.
• Proficiency in inventory and MS Office.
