As a Scrum Master, you will be the "facilitator-in-chief" for our agile teams, responsible for running 1-2 Scrum teams made up of 7-9 members each. You are a coach who empowers the team to own their process, fosters a high-performing environment, and ensures that the Scrum framework is understood and enacted.
What you’ll do
Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, stakeholder demos, and sprint retrospectives, ensuring they are productive and time-boxed.
Identify, track, and remove impediments or blockers to keep the teams highly productive and help them meet their Sprint goals.
Partner with Product Owners to assist with backlog grooming, prioritize tasks, and ensure business objectives are understood in features and user stories.
Track team progress and productivity using data (such as velocity, burn-down charts, volatility, predictability, and cycle time) to help the team reflect and continuously improve.
Provide servant leadership, guiding the team toward self-organization, cross-functionality, and incorporating Agile/Scrum best practices.
What Experience You Need
3+ years of measurable experience working directly in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Proven experience running 1-2 Scrum teams (7-9 members each) concurrently.
Demonstrated proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Trello, including the ability to create dashboards, filters, and reports.
Solid, applied understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Demonstrated ability to accurately track, report, and facilitate the resolution of specific issues, risks, and cross-team dependencies.
What could set you apart
Holding a recognized Agile certification, such as CSM (Certified Scrum Master) or PSM I/II.
Possessing a relevant Cloud Certification.
Exceptional soft skills, specifically demonstrating empathy, active listening, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
Experience in successfully guiding teams through the "forming, storming, norming, and performing" stages to achieve sustainable predictability and meet commitments consistently.
